Management/Accounting/Marketing/IT Full-time Lecturers (Sydney Campus)

Kent is currently seeking Expression of Interest for Management/Accounting/Marketing/IT academics to join us in Sydney on a Full-time basis.
Role/Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops in the disciplines of Information Technology.
• Developing innovative teaching materials that utilise current and emerging eLearning technologies.
• Undertaking marking and moderation of assignments and final examinations as required.
• Supporting the Associate Dean in curriculum and professional development, scholarly activity and pedagogical improvements.
• Developing and implementing effective teaching approaches for a multi-cultural student population.
Selection Criteria:
• Minimum Master’s degree. A PhD degree is highly desirable.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in teaching students at tertiary level. Industry experience will be highly regarded.
• Energy, creativity and passion for teaching.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Only candidates with the right to work in Australia may apply for this position.
• Ability to interact effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
• Ability to mentor and supervise undergraduate students.
• For IT Lecturers: working knowledge of Javascript, HTML 5, CSS 3, JQuery, J2EE, Java Server Pages. Proficiency in a high-level programming language, e.g. Java, C#. Solid understanding of operating systems, data structure and algorithm, computer networks.
