We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to provide a Kindergarten program at our brand new Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten centre located in Nerang. The expected start date is the end of September, beginning of October 2018.
The role
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children.
- You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and flexible routines.
- Work as a lead educator to provide creative learning experiences.
- You will have extensive knowledge of the EYLF, transition statements and understanding of the NQF/NQS and work in compliance with all regulations to meet high standards.
- Networking with relevant stakeholders in the local community.
- Provide a comprehensive transition to school program.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
- Minimum 12 months experience in an early childhood setting
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Blue Card
- Teachers Registration is preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead a room environment
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF
