About the role
Twinkle Child Care is privately owned and family run centre. Our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adopting and nurturing environment.
We are a seeking passionate educator -casuals/part time/full time who currently holds a Certificate 3 qualification who thrives on high quality environments and displays.
You'll possess initiative, enthusiasm and strong communication skills at all times. This is a hands on role where you can make a wonderful contribution and enhance children's lives.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Developing and implementing the educational programs and achieving quality learning outcomes
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor experiences drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities
- Design and follow a full schedule of activities and routines
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
- Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families, carers and other team members
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests
- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices
Skills and experience
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences
- Proven experience in a similar role
- A relevant early childhood education qualification
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
