Expression of Interest

Australia's CEO Challenge (ACEOC) is a social business (non-profit company) whose goals are to engage businesses and workplaces to address the issues of domestic violence, build communities that are more informed about domestic and family violence, and facilitate business-community partnerships that increase resources addressing domestic violence.

ACEOC is funded by fee-for-service payments, grants, fundraising events, donations and memberships. The company has a governing board of directors that sets strategic direction and works closely to support and drive the desired outcomes.

Our key stakeholders include government organisations, corporations and community organisations. We are looking to build a dynamic and diverse team who have the passion to educate and raise awareness of domestic and family violence in a workplace setting. Our expertise is specifically aimed at the workplace and corporate sector for which we seek likeminded individuals who can guide and support organisations.

Brief overview of the Role:

ACEOC has an increasing number of new business opportunities that require an increase in our capacity Australia wide.

The role is primarily an external workplace facilitator. Successful applicants will be delivering an already designed set of face to face programs. Facilitators will be expected to deliver training to workplaces across government, communities, and businesses in predominately in QLD, regional locations and  potentially nationally.

Any travel outside of the Brisbane region will be renumerated.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Facilitators must have a minimum Bachelor Social Work, Counselling, Education, Psychology, and / or equivalent expertise in the field will be highly valued.
  2. Applicants must be able to demonstrate credibility and experience in the field of domestic and family violence or a related field.
  3. Highly developed training and facilitation skills and experience.
  4. Credibility and experience in the field of domestic and family violence.
  5. Passion for creating change in workplaces.
  6. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  7. Highly developed communication skills relevant to the role and the contexts for facilitative training.
  8. Ability to hold an agenda lightly and willingness to work respectfully with government and businesses who are starting out on the DFV training journey.
  9. Cert IV in Training and Assessment or demonstrated equivalent training and facilitation experience.

Note: Part of the recruitment process will include a Criminal History check.
