Admissions Officer
Job Requirements
- Processing and assess applications for entry into various courses (Eligibility, Supportive documents, education certificates, forms)
- Ensure that the applications are dealt with in a time bound manner
- Issue and revise letters of offers where required
- Issue eCoE/ECOE variation in Prisms
- Manage student filing system
- Keeping up-to-date student details
- Provide excellent stakeholder management, their requests and ongoing follow-up/support to students and education agents
- Assist students with application process and partner with other departments in Colleges to finalise enrolment.
- Work Closely with Administration Manager and Marketing Team
- Keep abreast of legislation relating to ESOS ACT, CRICOS, the 2018 National Code and SRTOs 2015.
- Provide timely and accurate reports of intake dates and potential students.
- Organise Orientation to newly enrolled students.
Skills and Experience
- Thorough working knowledge of VETtrak and PRISMS is mandatory for this position.
- A diploma qualification or above with relevant experience
- At least 2-3 years of Student Support and Admissions Roles in an international student environment at an RTO.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to maintain an exceptional level of client service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated high level of multi-cultural awareness and ability to operate successfully in a cross-cultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel), experience in data analysis and a high level of computer literacy
- Ability to ensure strict compliance with policy and procedures in support of regulatory guidelines
- Exceptional time management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all administrative activities
Compliance Officer
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of RTO's Quality and Compliance
The role reports to the General Manager and is accountable for:
- Management of RTO's compliance framework to ensure adherence to ASQA and other regulatory agencies, including various funding agencies where applicable.
- Developing and maintaining plans, schedules, quality control and version control of documents relating to RTO compliance in line with RTO's Quality Management System
- Providing support and guidance to the RTO's Training team and ensuring an active approach in minimising compliance risk.
- Coordinating internal and external audits, qualification updates, extensions of scope and funding applications.
- Maintaining and developing course material
Required Skills and Experience
- Expert understanding of RTO Standards, ESOS Act, and other compliance obligations.
- Practical knowledge of data reporting across states and territories.
- Evidence of current or recent industry experience.
- A strong compliance history of maintaining registrations and scope for one or more RTOs.
- Excellent computer literacy skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the VET industry
- Experience with applications to ASQA for changes to scope of registration.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing policy, collating and interpreting data, report writing, and business case formation.
