We are seeking an energetic  Early Childhood Teacher, to facilitate the integrated Kindergarten program within Macedon Early Learning Centre. A bright and beautiful room awaits, leading out in to an exceptional and natural outdoor yard. The opportunity is unique and the possibilities endless.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) with  experience of implementing a kindergarten program
• Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• An ability to work and lead in a team environment
• Current approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
• Current VIT and Police check  

Additional Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of child development theories and an ability to demonstrate within the program. 
• Able to communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
• Able to create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development
• Knowledge in the Reggio Emilia approach
