The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Educator with YMCA Strathpine Early Education Centre. The successful person will be required to be available for shifts ranging from 6.30am till 6.30pm. This is a great opportunity for a child care professional that is looking for career development, recognition and a challenge in a child care environment.
Key responsibilities of the position will include:
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- To work as an effective team member to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Participate in professional and personal development
- Undertake daily care duties as directed by Lead Educator and Management.
- To be able to work independently and show initiative
The Person
To be successful in the role you will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
- Current blue card
- Current First Aid and CPR preferred
- Passion and dedication to providing a quality care and a genuine interest in working with children.
