Dripstone Children's Centre is based in the leafy northern suburbs of Darwin. We're a not- for-profit, community run children's centre providing high quality care for children aged 5 months to 5 years. We have been assessed as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards. The centre operates Monday to Friday from 7:15am - 5:45pm.
Our large outdoor areas have productive fruit and vegetable gardens and are also home to a number of beautiful chickens. The children at Dripstone harvest the fresh produce, and collect the fresh eggs, both of which are used in freshly cooked meals on-site. The children at Dripstone learn to care for their environment, through caring for our chickens, rabbits, vegie gardens, and taking part in our embedded sustainability practices. The team at Dripstone also believe that is is important for children to explore beyond the fence and as such, engage in regular bush/beach kindy.
We are seeking a Diploma qualified Educator who is a motivated professional to join our "loving nature" team.

Lead Educator/Room Leader (Diploma Trained)
Essential Criteria:
• DIPLOMA OF CHILDREN'S SERVICES
• Experience in an early childhood service
• Understanding of National Quality Framework
• Working with Children Clearance
• First aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or ability to obtain)
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
• Experience programming for children aged 0-6years
• Passion for nature pedagogy
