The Role:
Petit Barton are seeking an experienced and driven manager that is eager to guide and mentor the overall operation of our early childhood service on its journey to success.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our current Centre Director, to support and guide, our high potential centre to optimal performance and quality.
We require a Candidate who will:
- Align with our Vision and engage in a collaborative and partnership style of leadership;
- Act as an Advocate for children, parents, educators, early childhood profession and general community;
- Be sensitive and responsive to the need for Change and lead change effectively;
- Pay Particular focus to culture, curriculum, environments and community engagement;
- Align with our Culture to build and lead a professional team;
- Energetic, action-oriented with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning;
- Mentor, guide and empower our team;
- Drive Quality and compliance consciousness to create a standard of excellence and quality expectation;
- Unite the team and promote the value of cooperation, clarification of roles and responsibilities and joint goal setting;
- Build and sustain leadership capacity within the team;
- Embed a community engagement approach in learning;
- Build practices of excellence through the curriculum & environment;
- Have Evidence-based high impact teaching strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous Early Childhood Centre Manager, and/or Area Manager
- Strong Business Development experience
- Professional Business Acumen
- Proven leadership and management capability to enhance team cohesion
- Proven relationship building capability, especially in relation to current and prospective families
- Marketing experience will be highly regarded
- Highly effective communicator who is organised, directed, driven and absolutely passionate about making a difference in the early childhood sector.
- Qualification of a Diploma of children's services or higher
- Qualification in Business Administration or higher
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded)
- Working with vulnerable persons card
- First Aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
