About the role
The King David School Pre-school is a well-established Centre with an experienced Director and staff who all work together as a team. We offer generous planning and preparation time; well-above Award rates; ongoing professional development; and wonderful resources for our teachers and children in a warm and welcoming environment.
The KDS Pre-School Centre in St. Kilda is seeking appropriately qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educators who are available to work at short notice for emergency relief work and/or to replace permanent staff who are absent for longer periods on annual leave or long service leave.
Hours of work may vary depending on the person who is absent. The Centre is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Candidates must have:
- experience assisting in the development and implementation of an innovative and contemporary pre-school program;
- a comprehensive understanding of the NQS and the VEYLDF;
- the ability to document children's learning;
- the ability to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for their age group and/or stage of development
Other Requirements
· Certificate III in Children's Services or Diploma in Children Services
· A current Employee Working with Children Check
· Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
