Job Description
About the Role and what you can expect
Employed by Laureate Education Services Australia Pty Ltd to support the operational functions of TUA and/or TC; the Employability Services Officer is responsible for creating career advisory content, and will work on employability technology projects and national programs to increase student and staff engagement with career advisory tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an online resource library of career advisory tools and templates for student and faculty use
- Collaborate with the Design Studio to ensure employability messaging and content meets all business branding guidelines
- Lead the creation of content for use on Careers Connect & The Alumni Portal
- Complete regular market research on current industry and recruitment trends
- Create and develop Careers & Employability specific collateral (digital and print) drafts and briefs in with the relevant team managers
- Support the team in the management of content and collateral for the student and industry target audiences
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Previous experience with Content / Digital Marketing
- Strong Project Management skills and proven experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Confident with technology including online learning platforms and/or CRM (knowledge of Blackboard and Symplicity CSM highly regarded)
- Background or understanding of Recruitment, HR or higher education (highly regarded)
- Creativity and innovative nature, willing to think “outside the box”
- Customer-focused and able to deliver to a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Exceptional communication skills written and verbal
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/or training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Strong personal drive and self-motivation
