Permanent Part Time Positions
We require positive, friendly and energetic individuals who hold a Bachelor of Education Early Childhood or Diploma of Children's Services and will be responsible for the following:
The successful applicant must:
-
Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Be dedicated and committed to working in a team and collaborating with all stakeholders.
-
Be responsible for the direction, guidance and general supervision of other educators up to this level.
-
Be confident in implementing and documenting a high quality developmental play based program that creates opportunities for children to grow and learn and develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines;
-
Display a professional and understanding approach to developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Ensure a child safe organisation and safe environment is maintained for educators, children and families, under the Child Safety Standards.

Ensure that records are maintained accurately for each child.

Ensure other educators are contributing to the educational program and the recording of children's learning.

Ensuring the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law, Centres policies and procedures are adhered to;

Demonstrate a sound knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office
-
Demonstrate experience in leading a team of educators
-
Knowledge of the stages of physical, emotional, cognitive, social and cultural development of children and the capability to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups / stages of development

A strong work ethic, reliable and punctual

Have a minimum of two years experience
To be successful in this role, the applicant must hold/be:
-
Diploma of Children's Services (or equivalent) or Bachelor of Early Childhood (or equivalent)

Current CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and First Aid
-
Current Working with Children's Check or VIT Registration
-
Current Victorian Police Check
-
Eligible to work in Australia
-
Able to work a rotating roster between 6.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Two reference checks must be provided including:
-
One who has worked directly with you (preferably in a supervisory role)

Both relevant to the Early Childhood Industry.
