Maryland OOSH Inc. is a community based outside of school hours service based in Maryland Public School (Newcastle). We are currently looking for an Assistant Educator who has an interest in working within a small team of professionals, children and families. We are looking for someone with experience, good communication skills and excellent organisational skills.
Perm Part time – 17.5hrs per week (2.30-6pm Mon-Fri)
Position to commence ASAP.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services/OOSH
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Good time management skills
Desirable Requirements
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi task
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
- Knowledge of the local community
- Experience in building partnerships with families
- Knowledge of the NQF and MTOP
- Knowledge of EEO and WH&S
