A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Diploma Qualified Childcare professional to lead our outside school hours care program within the Fremantle area. Horizons Childhood Learning Centres operates a number of OSHC services within our local community and is seeking a flexible qualified educator to work in our White Gum Valley Service.
The successful applicant will be committed to providing the highest quality care to children aged 5 to 12 years old. The role requires the applicant to deliver an educational and fun program which is engaging and builds upon the children`s interests. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with the children in your care and have a significant and positive impact on their development. The program operates within a room allocated primarily for this service and facilitates great scope for planning and delivery of activities.
This position is strongly supported by our Centre Director from our long day care service. Additional hours are available in our long day care centre as required. As part of a larger team this position offers ongoing education and training and the opportunity to really make a difference within the community. Certified Supervisor Certificate is essential.
Applicants must have the following:
- Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care or equivalent
- Certified Supervisor Certificate (essential)
- Current Working With Children's Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current drivers licence
- Knowledge of My Time Our Place and National Quality Standards
