At Avenues Carina we are seeking an Experienced Early Childhood Teacher looking for a teacher and leadership opportunity in our Kindergarten Unit.

• Offering $55,000 - $75,000 depending on qualification and experience
• We reward your contribution with annual bonuses
• RDO accrual allows for an additional 2 weeks off per year 

We deliver an emergent style Kindergarten Program that focuses on a child's strengths and emerging interests.  Our service applies a Reggio inspired approach that underpins our Play Based Curriculum Framework delivered daily by our Early Childhood teaching team of 5.

About the role:
 
Are you ready to take on a challenge and begin the journey of a lifetime in your career? We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our Kindergarten unit (fulltime) at Avenues Carina.   As the ECT in the Kindergarten room, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of a comprehensive Curriculum Framework.  We are looking for that very special teacher who is a self-starter, armed with a creative vision who is an approachable leader amongst the community of families, children and employees; and a practitioner who has a hands-on approach in teaching young children.  Your role would be viewed as the Senior Teacher of our Kindergarten unit, acting as a mentor and role model for our other teaching staff.
 
Our ideal applicant must have:

• Prior teaching experience in a childcare environment is essential;
• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification);
• Possess excellent organisational and time management skills;
• Enjoy co-collaborating, developing and maintaining open and collaborative relationships with families;
• Show a genuine interest in the Emergent style Curriculum with Reggio Emilia inspired approach focusing on a child's strengths and emerging interests;
• Highly advantageous to have Teacher Registration;
• Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification;
• Paid or Exemption Blue Card;
• Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and implement a high quality, educational and child centered Educational Program, meeting the needs of the individual children and the class group;
• Ability to mentor, coach and work with all educators to meet the requirements of their position;
• Able to relate to individuals of various ages, and social and cultural backgrounds.

To further complement our outstanding teaching team we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher who is warm, caring and respectful of children's needs and the environment in which they learn. This role will see you leading the Kindergarten classroom working collaboratively with fellow Educators in the unit to deliver a Play-Based Learning Program.
