Our client is a well established RTO based in Brisbane, with various faculties on scope.
As the Academic Manager you will be part of the leadership team, driving the business to the next level.
The RTO is committed to student outcomes, providing an exceptional student experience and ensuring the ongoing compliance of the RTO are managed.
The RTO is looking for an experienced Academic Manager who has a hands on approach. You must be an engaging manager and a strategic thinker with an operational outlook.
Reporting to an Executive leader, you will responsible for the following:
- Providing leadership to the Trainers/Assessors and support staff, to ensure staff are engaged
- Oversee the daily operations of the academic and student experience.
- Ensuring the student experience is outstanding
- Managing student completion rates
- Innovate
- Implementation and execution of commercial strategy
To be considered for this role (criteria), you will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years working in the VET sector
- Experience in the role of Academic Manager or similar
- Ability to develop and maintain multi-level stakeholders relationships
- A drive to meet expected deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience with online learning
- Current TAE
- Diploma or Bachelor in education or equivalent
- Great people skills
