Learning and Capability Lead (SAP)

Our client is seeking a Learning and Capability Lead to work with their customer experience platform program to drive and quality assure the delivery of SAP learning services (from a service provider) in line with the strategic outcomes and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a geographically distributed team in partnership with a counterpart.

• Drive delivery of the learning program in accordance with the Learning Strategy, Approach and the client’s learning and capability standards.

• Provide regular status reports and represent the Learning and Capability stream in key forums.

• Define an ongoing learning model for sustainability and re-use.

• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business and provide regular updates to the team.

• Work within the budgetary constraints of the Program to deliver outcomes.

• Review all work products from the services provider for quality, accuracy and adherence to the client’s strategic needs.



Key capabilities:

• Project management and planning.

• Sizing SAP related learning and delivery.

• Use of SAP Enable Now to deliver learning programs.

• Setting and managing stakeholder expectations.

• Adult Learning methodologies, approaches and tools.

• Influence / interpersonal skills

• Negotiation / conflict resolution

• Instructional design / learning experience designer

• Learning Design and delivery approaches (e.g. train the trainer, learning circles)

• Learning Evaluation and metrics

• MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

 

Requirements:

• Strong leadership, attention to detail and influencing skills that will suit a proactive and outgoing self-starter.

• Subject matter expertise in delivering SAP learning programs, solid project management skills and a strong ‘can do’ approach is essential.

• Adult learning, capability development or organisational change management with

• 7-10 years’ experience in leading teams (direct reports and resources in cross matrix structures)
