Based in Midland, this Government agency is designed to enhance the lives of many Australians across the country. We are now recruiting experienced Training Delivery & Administration Officers to commence by the 1st of August until the 30th of June 2019 with a possible extension.  

As a Training Delivery & Administration Officer, you will support and develop the capability and skills of employees. You will ensure ongoing training needs are met within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Joining a passionate and hardworking team, you will be responsible for;

  • Delivering and evaluating training programs to staff including inductions, core skills, technical, IT systems, compliance programs, management and leadership programs
  • Coordinating the administration of training programs including learner registrations, attendance records, evaluation surveys and room bookings.
  • Providing timely feedback to the People & Culture Division, following training delivery
  • Ensuring adjustments are made to ensure training is accessible to all employees
  • Contributing to the development of nationally endorsed learning programs as required
  • Actively participate in regular forums with the division to ensure content of training delivered locally is consistent with other trial sites and priorities 

To be successful, you will have the following skills and attributes;

  • Positive attitude towards people with a disability and knowledge/understanding of the impact to individuals
  • Experience using a learning management system (LMS)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and work cohesively within your team
  • Strong ability to make sound decisions, prioritise and multi task in a fast past environment
  • Experience in human services, allied health and or disability is desirable
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a tertiary qualification in education with a broad range of experience in the facilitation of corporate training.
