Our purpose is to change the lives of individuals, industry and communities through delivering innovative vocational training that facilitates real employment outcomes.  With 10 campuses across Melbourne, Bendigo, Castlemaine and Echuca, we are one of Victoria's largest vocational training organisations. 

We are currently seeking an experienced Teacher to deliver Renault specialised apprentice and technician training to the Renault dealership network in Australia.

The Role

  • Partnering with Renault to deliver training and assessment to a wide variety of student cohorts within the automotive vehicle industry,

  • To deliver and the assessment of competencies across the program

  • Continuously improving the BKI's reputation for excellence in teaching, learning and service delivery education solutions.

  • Work closely with other BKI staff members to deliver quality products within optimal timeframes that reflect the learning needs of the Automotive industry.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum qualification - Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)

  • An appropriate qualification (Degree, Diploma or Certificate) within the Automotive industry with substantial demonstrated industry experience;
  • Demonstrated experience to COTECH level Renault training certification
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in a Renault dealership environment servicing, repairing and diagnosing Renault passenger and light commercial vehicles using Renault's specialised diagnostic tools
  • Demonstrated experience with Renault's processes and procedures in relation to warranty, recall campaigns, technical data, and customer service
  • Diploma of VET Practice or other approved teacher training qualification which includes supervised teaching practice and studies in teaching methodology or equivalent or willingness to undertake and complete within the next 18 months)
  • Satisfactory ongoing Victorian Police Check and/or a Working with Children's Check;
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • First Aid Certificate Level 2
