Petit Early Learning Journey Burleigh is now open and fizzing with excited children and their families.

Due to the rapid growth we are seeking Float and Casual Educators for our brand new Centre which caters for children aged 0-5 years old.

We would like to invite all experienced & dedicated childcare professionals to join the team. We are currently seeking Assistant Educators for various float and casual positions at our Burleigh Centre.

We require passionate, friendly and energetic individuals who will be responsible for the following:

• Be an active part of the learning community

• Taking responsibility for the environment and children at the centre

• Ensure a safe environment is maintained for both Educators and children

• Ensure a high level of supervision and engagement with children is maintained at all times;

• Ensure that records are maintained accurately for each child in their care;

• contribute to reviews and be a reflective practitioner;

• Be proactive and be able to use your initiative within a team environment;

• Ensure the centres policies and procedures are adhered to; and

• Liaise with families

To be successful in this role, the applicant must:

• Hold or be working towards an Early Childhood Education qualification

• Hold a current Blue Card (Qld WWCC)

• understand their responsibility within the team and as a role model to children

• have a minimum of two years experience within the Early Childhood sector

• Hold a current recognized Senior First Aid Certificate including CPR and Asthma and Anaphylactic training
