Our new centre based at Seaford Meadows is an impressive, purpose-built facility with indoor and outdoor environments have been designed and customised to capture the imagination of all children to play, learn, develop and grow.  

Reporting to the Centre Director, this role is for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), who will be passionate about delivering our Kindergarten Program in accordance with the Queensland Kindergarten Program.

Day to day you will:

  • Develop and run a comprehensive transition to school program, that is creative, engaging and effective
  • As a lead educator, lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children
  • Manage your classroom and flexible routines
  • Network and build relationships with relevant stakeholders in the local community.

You will hold:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in an early childhood setting (advantageous)
  • A current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications 
  • A current Employment Working with Children Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A solid and proven ability to lead a classroom environment 
  • Sound understanding and extensive knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, transition statements and work in compliance with all regulations to meet the high standards of the regulations and Green Leaves.
