Agnew School is seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Head of Campus at our Darling Downs (Toowoomba) campus. This role is permanent, full time, and available to commence in Term 3. 

The Position

This role, reporting directly to the Regional Principal, has responsibility for the management, professional leadership and general running of the Darling Downs Campus of Agnew School. This senior role has responsibility for the management of approximately 10 staff, oversight of students and their families (approx 75 students), delivery of the curriculum with a focus on the student as a self-directed learner, implementation of the school's policies and programs, maintenance and care of school property, management of the daily timetable, planning of events and liaison with the broader school community. 

This role will also involve a small teaching load, the specifics of which would be negotiated during the recruitment process, based on the successful candidates background and subject expertise. 

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, possess a visionary and innovative mind and a "can do" attitude, have a genuine love of student education and the ability to be flexible and adaptive within a dynamic workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in embracing modern teaching methods and technologies, including video conferencing across multiple campuses and online resources.

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience at a similar level, with proven management experience. 

As the school has a strong faith based approach to life and learning, the successful applicant will need to be able to respect and support this aspect of the lives of the students.

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and a current teacher registration certificate with the Queensland College of Teachers.
