  • Strong supportive leadership team with weekly communication meetings
  • Opportunities for development and career progression

Do you have a passion for working with children?  Do you thrive in a fast paced environment and are always seeking continuous improvement? Are you fun natured and flexible?  Are you motivated by touching children's lives BUT not so keen on creating rosters or processing bookings?  Then this is the perfect Coordinator role for you - focus on the children and program, not the administrative tasks.

Eatons Hill OSH Club is recruiting an experienced Coordinator to join our leadership team.  This permanent part-time role reports to the Service Coordinator who is supported by the Business Operations Manager and a strong P&C Executive.  The Service is licensed to provide care for 255 children and employs a team of approximately 30 educators - the large size of the Service necessitates a strong leadership team with effective collaboration, communication and reflective skills.

This role works in tandem with the Service Coordinator to be responsible for the day to day organisation, management, and leadership of the program, including but not limited to:

  • Managing day to day operations across multiple areas;
  • Guiding, managing and mentoring a team of educators;
  • Engaging, inspiring and delighting children and families through the program and activities.

This role will work 35-38 hours per week and requires split shifts with allocated non-contact time.

We are looking to appoint a Coordinator who is highly organised, a great communicator and works well within a team environment. Essential requirements for this position are:

  • Proven leadership in a child care setting
  • Diploma in Children's Services or relevant area
  • Valid Working with Children Card
  • Current senior first aid certificate, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Child protection training certificate
  • Working knowledge of current child care legislation, including the MTOP framework and the National Quality Laws and Regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to positively, proactively and regularly engage with staff, families and students.

If this description excites you, submit a resume and cover letter detailing how you meet the criteria and why you are the best candidate for the role.
