AstraZeneca Manufacturing & Supply in North Ryde is going through and exciting growth phase, building new production lines to keep up with demand of our highly popular respiratory products. We have been investing $200 Million in the last 8 years and more lies on the horizon!
Technical Learning & Development is part of our Human Resources function, and is a pivotal department for the development and implementation of learning solutions to partner with our manufacturing business to improve operational performance.
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Learning & Development Manager, leading a team of 2 L&D professionals. Responsible for defining the Supply & Manufacturing technical training systems and processes, you will drive learnings through the design, and end to end delivery of best practice L&D activities and training programs. Initially you will conduct a full review of the existing framework across training strategy, systems and programs before developing a new strategy and relevant action plans to improve operational performance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be key to successfully driving change and effectively building relationships with various stakeholders. You will demonstrate a strong technical training background with a proven track record in the implementation and management of an organisational learning management system. Motivated by outcomes, and you will thrive in a professional setting where you can collaborate, lead, deliver and develop. Having worked in a Quality and/or Continuous Improvement function is highly advantageous for this role.
The successful candidate will be a tertiary qualified learning professional with past success leading a training function, ideally from within the manufacturing sector.
