Our large NSW State Government client serves the community by leading the provision of world-class education. Recognising the continuing advances in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics a new initiative has been launched, STEMShare. STEMShare project has been designed to prepare young people with workforce ready skills for the future along with aiding teachers to embed concepts in their teaching.
  
They are currently seeking an experienced Education Research Officer to join their team located in Eveleigh for an estimated 12month temporary contact, with a potential to extend. Reporting to the Director of Technology for Learning, you will be responsible for the overall research, evaluation and reporting for the STEMShare Project.

Some of the key responsibilities will include, however, will not be limited to the following –

• Collate and prepare high level reporting through thorough analytical research
• Translate complex information into clear and succinct language to ensure they meet academic journal publication standards  
• Analyse and review proposals and methodologies, providing accurate and timely responses
• Establish and maintain collaborative and productive key stakeholder relationships including Representatives from corporate, school and school communities
• Analyse and evaluate qualitive and quantitative complex data through utilising technological tools
• Provide high level administrative support to the Director and Business Unit including briefings, correspondence, research proposals and presentation material
• Represent the Business Unit at committee and stakeholder meetings relating to the STEMShare Project

To secure this great project role you will have the following –

• Previous Education Research Officer experience or demonstrated experience within similar field
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work within a high-volume environment with superior prioritising and multitasking skills ensuring tasks are completed with set deadlines/timeframes.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and self-manage
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning
• A strong team and task focus, be willing to assist in other areas as required
• Ability to commence the assignment almost immediately and commit to the duration
