Our business provides innovative safety and leadership training to Blue Chip companies from over 12 industries.  A market leader for over 25 years, our behaviourally based programs are either accredited (Cert IV or Diploma) or non-accredited therefore offering clients unique solutions that absolutely hit the brief.

In support of our overall business growth plan, we are excited to add a new member to our Business Development Team. 

In this role, you will be the face of our company and responsible for identifying, developing, securing and account managing new business. You will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders and will have an ability to influence outcomes to favour all parties.

Based in our Collingwood office, and reporting to our National Business Development Manager, this role will provide you with the variety that ensures your long term interest and personal development.

You will be involved in cross selling and up-selling our suite of services, therefore the ideal candidate will have; a strong knowledge and background in Work Health Safety and/or  a Learning and Development background with a clear understanding and commitment to the principles of adult learning.

However, if you have a strong Business Development background in solution selling and a proven ability to learn quickly, we would like to see your application.

Working as part of the Business Development Team your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising your strong networking skills
  • Working with other consultants to investigate, manage and win new business
  • Independently recognising new business opportunities
  • Generating and contributing to team outcomes
  • Providing clients with options to engage our services through listening to their needs and selling our solutions.
  • Writing proposals
  • Taking initial briefs from clients and communicating the client needs to our design team.
  • Attending client meetings with other division Account Managers.   
  • Meeting assigned sales, administrative, reporting and growth targets and KPI's.

To be successful in this role you will have a history of achieving successful outcomes supporting business growth and a proven history of negotiating and closing.
