The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE), at the University of Tasmania, is a dynamic business school providing world-class research and teaching, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University’s Hobart, Launceston and Cradle Coast (Burnie) campuses, as well as in Sydney at the Rozelle campus. The TSBE also provides undergraduate teaching programs internationally in China and Hong Kong.
This continuing position provides an opportunity to join a vibrant and growing group of entrepreneurship and innovation academics who are engaged in contemporary, multi-disciplinary research and teaching, with strong links into the Tasmanian business community.
Based in Hobart, the appointee will undertake the teaching, research and administrative duties of a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the TSBE, engaging also in curriculum development and internal service as appropriate to the academic level of appointment. The appointee will have teaching and research experience in relevant areas such as entrepreneurship, innovation, venture planning, connecting and communicating, and industry analysis.
Accountabilities, outcomes and essential requirements are outlined in the position description with the requirements for academic level (B & C) outlined.
The total remuneration package will be commensurate with academic level B to C (dependent on experience) and comprises a base salary within the range of $92,326 to $128,458 plus 17% superannuation.
