About the role:
Are you ready to take on a challenge and begin the journey of a lifetime? C&K are about to open a BRAND NEW Long Day Care service in Kedron and are currently looking for experienced and qualified Group Leaders to join their team.
 
As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a quality, educational and child centered program, meeting the needs of individual children and the group. 


This position is permanent part time working on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:30am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday. 


 
Ideal applicants must have:

• Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA).
• Current Paid Blue Card (or willing to obtain one).
• Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate/s.
• National Police Check issued within the last 3 months (or willing to obtain one) .
• Ability to plan and implement a quality, educational and child centered program incorporating the child's home routine into the daily program.
• An ability to lead, mentor and support other Educators to assist them to meet the requirements of their position descriptions.
• An active role in promoting the service to the local and wider communities.
• Prior experience in the nursery room of a Childcare Centre is essential.
