Barraba Preschool is a small not for profit community-based preschool. We run a normal preschool program Monday to Thursday and a supported playgroup on Fridays. At our preschool we share the children’s journey of learning through play, discovery, reflections and meaningful documentation.
We have an opportunity for an energetic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher / Director to lead our Preschool and be a part of an amazing community.
Skills and Experience must include:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood with NESA accreditation recognised by ACECQA.
- Previous experience as an Early Childhood Teacher/director, with demonstrated experience in implementing the EYLF and NQF
- Senior first aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
- Have a currently approved Child Protection Qualification for NSW Children’s Services.
- A passion and enthusiasm for creating educational, interesting and inviting play spaces, linking to the curriculum.
- Leadership skills along with a willingness to continue to learn and evolve within the Preschool.
- To mentor educators by role modelling quality practice, sharing knowledge and teaching strategies.
- Develop relationships that support and partner with families.
