Maragon Early Learning Centres is a dynamic and forward thinking Education company focused on early learning 8weeks to 5 years. Maragon currently operates 6 Early Learning centers in the Perth Metropolitan area. The owners of a successful global education group started Maragon in Australia in 2014.

Job tasks and responsibilities
As the Centre Director you will be responsible to lead and mentor an experienced team. Managing and planning Budgets including wages will be a core part of your role . The centre is currently at full occupancy with a active waitlist for maintaining the occupancy . KPI indicators will be given to you monthly and reviewed quarterly for bonuses and performance .
A supportive centre team including an Educational leader 3 days off the floor and an experienced and supportive Area Manager will be there to support and guide you in your role.
Assessment and Rating , will be the core focus to your role to ensure that practice is embedded , meaningful and reflected upon. Quality improvement plans will need to be maintained and updated as required.
Program and Practice will be delivered with the planning cycle and a play based approach to learning where children will express their interests and laugh and play all day
The Health and safety including wellbeing will be consulted with management and sought to maintain the safe risk and benefits children's development in all ages .
Environments and play spaces will be inviting and set up with Provocation inviting children to extend on their learning and create opportunity for discovery and investigation . Embedding routines and allowing for flexibility will be paramount to the role you deliver .
As the Centre Director , you will need to motivate and work collaboratively with your team to ensure that the goals of the centre and families are met with passion and in a timely manner .You will work collaboratively with the other Centre Directors in the Maragon Team to deliver a service that is set apart from other early learning centres.
Relationships with children and their families will be your primary focus delivering various communication methods such as parent workshops , to gain a sense of trust and support the partnership that comes with raising a child .We require a nurturing motherly figure to support our families in the babies room .
Being able to critically reflect on how you and the centre works to ensure that Maragon's Vision and Philosophy is met will be a key essential part of your role .
Skills and experience
As the Centre Director you will have a Diploma in Children's services as a minimum qualification with at least 5 years experience as a Centre Director . Maragon supports working mothers and is committed to a work life balance . Being able to meet all of the regulatory requirements will be essential in fulfilling the role . You will be required to be the Nominated Supervisor for the centre and have a Clear Police record for compliance with the Proda Management systems.
Maragon uses Kidsoft , Storypark and Easyemployer as our software portals for operational requirements . Experience and knowledge with these will be highly regarded.
Knowledge and understanding of Montessori , EYLF and how these work together will be a key part of you being successful in the role .
