The Nido collection of early schools for children was launched in 2014 to provide families with a new standard of early children experiences and education. Nido embraces the Reggio Emilia approach to provide rich educational experiences to the children in our care.
We are now seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join the team and help implement Educational Programs in line with the EYLF as well as the Reggio Emilia Philosophy. This position encompasses the Educational Leader ole within the services.
This position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through to Friday.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create and implement educational programs for individuals and groups of children
- Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to Educator Assistants to successfully implement and reflect on the educational programs
- Provide learning opportunities for all children through the use of intentional teaching and play based learning
- Supervise, interact and engage with all children and families, building meaningful relationships
- Early Childhood Teaching Degree
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in the Childcare industry
- A passion for Early Education and Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build meaningful relationship with children and families
- A solid understanding of Reggio Emilia and the concepts of Play Based Learning
- A current Working With Children Check and Police clearance
