Part of the Academies Australasia Group, Spectra Training provides customised workplace based training solutions to businesses across a wide range of industries and qualifications, nationally.
We are currently searching for a new Business Development Manager to work as part of our cohesive and quality-focused team to help secure new business and partnerships in NSW.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities
- Develop and present proposals to prospective clients
- Win/close new business in accordance with quarterly and annual sales plans
- Establish and maintain relevant networks within the VET sector
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in building relationships & solutions selling
- Experience in B2B selling will be an advantage
- Proven track record in prospecting and targeting new clients
- Ability to influence key stakeholders at a range of levels within an organisation
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of training programs and state and federal funding programs including traineeships
- Self-discipline and self-motivation
- Ability to travel
- And of course, good values and work ethic
Your experience and previous sales successes are important, however the ability to demonstrate genuine work ethic, good values and a genuine commitment to success and quality outcomes is what we seek most.
