Your new company
This purpose built long day care centre, based on the North Shore, is looking for a Diploma educator for their award winning childcare. The centre is very environmentally focused, with 3 large rooms and picturesque outdoor areas. The centre caters for 60 children a day, between the ages of 2-5 years old.
With an impressive history spanning 22 years, this high quality centre has been awarded the accolade of 'One of the top 5 centres in the region'. The centre caters for families and children from diverse backgrounds, so there are specially trained bi-lingual educators that help bridge the gap for families and children.
Your new role
Your role as Diploma educator is to ensure the outcomes of the EYLF and NQS are met, mentor and train other educators and effectively communicate with parents and families. The role can be flexible, working across various age groups between the 2-5 years.
The centre has access to fantastic, state of the art resources including laptops, musical instruments and smart boards, to assist in your teaching. The philosophy of the centre encourages children and families to explore different cultures, ideas and learning styles.
This unique centre has a sister centre in Japan and promotes a bilingual educational program in both Japanese and English. Your role will be to promote the outcomes of the EYLF and NQS, using English as the primary language for communication.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma in Children's Services
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Dedication to high quality care and education
