P-6 Educational Development Teacher

Part-time 0.6FTE; Terms 3 & 4 2018 / 

Cranbrook School is seeking applications from outstanding teachers to join one of our dynamic P-6 teams in a part-time teaching role for the remainder of 2018, starting as soon as possible in Term 3. Educational Development Teachers form part of a year level team and teach English and Mathematics. Although part-time, the role functions across five days, Monday to Friday. There is a possibility that the role would be extended into 2019.

All potential applicants will possess an exemplary understanding of best practice and sustain a deep commitment to implement rigorous, highly differentiated programmes in Pre-school and Junior School settings. They will demonstrate a deep understanding of the role of data in informing teaching and learning. Successful applicants will form part of a community who strive for excellence through accountability and will be progressive, globally minded, enthusiastic and dedicated educators, capable of working collaboratively within a team. They will need to have a minimum of three years' full-time teaching experience. The successful applicant will have a combined early childhood and primary school tertiary teaching qualification, and NESA and ACECQA approval for teaching in NSW. An understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme would be advantageous.

Band 2  $98,216
