The School has launched new pathways to paediatric nursing and is seeking a dynamic lecturer who can teach and research in the area of Paediatrics.

The opportunity
This position will teach undergraduate and postgraduate paediatrics courses in the School while also undertaking high impact research in paediatrics, including publication of scholarly work and generating research funding. You will be highly committed to teaching excellence, and will actively and effectively supervise honours and postgraduate research student projects in the area of paediatrics.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Nathan campus.

About you
The successful applicant will hold unrestricted registration and license to practise as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency. You will also possess a PhD in Nursing or related area or a relevant doctoral qualification in Nursing or Education. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in teaching at the tertiary education level in Paediatrics will be essential, as will the ability to supervisor Paediatrics research students. You may also possess demonstrated experience in curriculum design and development and course coordination.

Salary range
Lecturer (Level B): $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,238 - $128,536 (pro rata) per annum.
