Do you enjoy training and a fast paced retail environment? We are currently looking for a highly motivated full-time Training & Development Consultant (based in Sydney, NSW) to join our Training team.

A balance of solid generalist training skills is needed to succeed in this role which involves a mix of operational training, managing, sourcing and delivering training programs for Franchisees/ Business Owners, Managers and Corporate staff.

Reporting to the Training & Development Manager (based in Melbourne), a large portion of this role will be the training assessment of new Franchisees which takes place on the job in a Bakers Delight bakery.

As such, regular travel throughout New South Wales and some interstate travel will be a requirement of this role.

In this role, your responsibilities include:

  • Competence assessment of new Franchisees throughout in-store training
  • Training needs analysis' for operational and bakery employees
  • Development of training resources
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Administration of training records and the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Involvement in content development for the eLearning system
  • Developing strategies for delivering of training to all stakeholders

In order to be successful you will need:

  • Certificate 4 Training and Assessment is a must
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience in hospitality/retail industry with experience in a Franchise environment advantageous
  • Demonstrated people management skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively and establish effective relationships with a wide range of audiences
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Valid driver's licence
