The Manager, Grants Development is a key contributor to the University’s Office of Research Engagement Development and Innovation (REDI), developing our researchers and REDI staff to deliver growing success in the competitive research grant space. The role is responsible for reviewing and preparing collaborative research proposals and agreements, providing detailed advice on contract research and proposals for research, and ensuring these are compliant with the specifications of the relevant funding body prior to submission.

Reporting to the Associate Director, REDI and supported by a dedicated, high-performing team, you will provide strategic advice, reporting and assistance to internal and external stakeholders regarding competitive research funding proposals, grants and bids. This includes significant and effective interaction with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (research and innovation), REDI Executive, researchers, funding bodies, Schools, Institutes and staff across the University.

The position is based at Werrington South campus of the University, however will include regular travel to other campuses and interstate travel from time to time.

Remuneration Package: Higher Education Worker Level 9 $131,822 to $140,774 p.a. (comprising Salary $111,391 to $118,956 p.a., plus Superannuation, plus Leave Loading)
