Your new role

With an exciting growth period occurring, ATP are bringing on a key role to assist in driving greater engagement from an already impressive client list and create new relationships in line with the go to market plan.

You will be provided with all the training, support and resources to achieve all the key performance indicators. Working with a combination of existing accounts and tasked to acquire new opportunities, you will use your consultative selling skills to help guide customers through the buying process.

You will be expected to research and map out customer objectives and ensure account management plans are executed to ensure strong relationships are developed with key stakeholders and partnerships created to ensure long term success.

Key Selection Criteria

  1. Prospecting
    1. Research potential markets for ATP’s products to develop a list of potential customers
    2. Utilise a variety of methods to contact potential clients
  2. Presenting / Proposals
    1. Ensure strong knowledge of ATP’s products to match the best product and/or service with the identified needs of each prospect or client
    2. Develop or modify existing proposals for clients’ consideration based on needs identified through exploratory meetings
  3. Closing Sales / Driving Revenue
    1. Generate revenue for ATP from new and existing clients as agreed with the Team Leader and/or Managing Director.
  4. Culture
    1. Demonstrate the vision and values of the business in all internal and external communications and interactions
  5. Brand & Marketing
    1. Ensure all marketing and advertising is ethical and reflective of the Company’s values, policies and procedures
  6. Stakeholder Management
    1. Represent the business appropriately at required industry, government or client meetings, forums or other events
    2. Manage key relationships acting as the ‘face’ of the business where required
  7. Administration & Governance Responsibilities
    1. Follow set processes and practices for the introduction of new clients to ATP
    2. Ensure the CRM is up to date with all activity and pipelines at all times
    3. Ensure compliance with relevant organisational policies
  8. General Responsibilities
    1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key markets

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain product knowledge
  2. Research and prospect to identify potential new business
  3. Generate leads that will assist in securing new business, which includes booking appointments, attending meetings and contributing to the preparation of tenders
  4. Building and consistently maintain an agreed pipeline of potential new business
  5. Product timely and accurate forecasts on weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets secure new clients and provide new solutions to existing clients
  6. Achieve profitable and quality sales results
  7. Ensure all paperwork and contracts are completed a submitted on-time, in-full and accurately 
  8. Proactively manage client accounts once secured to foster long term partnerships and growth
  9. Work collaboratively with team members and actively contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies and activities
  10. Maintain records of all activities in CRM system
  11. Actively seek and share market feedback on our products and services
  12. Maintain knowledge and awareness of industry trends and changes, and share information with colleagues
  13. Identify and recommend new opportunities for product development and diversification
  14. Attend and represent the organisation at stakeholder meetings and functions as required
  15. Perform other duties, as reasonably directed from time to time, by the Business Development Team Leader
