Prince Alfred College is a leading, independent, days and boarding boys’ school in Adelaide. Founded by the Methodist Church in 1869, PAC is now a Uniting Church college. Educating over 1,100 boys through Preparatory School, Middle School and Senior School and 200 boys and girls in the ELC, PAC caters for students from 2 to 18 years, including boarding and international students. In the Secondary School, PAC offers both the IB Diploma and South Australian Certificate of Education at senior levels, together with comprehensive co-curricular, character and wellbeing programs.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Director of Admissions contributes to the mission and goals of Prince Alfred College by raising the profile and understanding of the College to prospective families. The position plays a vital part in the achievement of one of the key goals of the Strategic Plan. The role is linked to strong measurable outcomes in terms of growth in student numbers.
This strategic role is also responsible for the development and implementation of specific marketing, business development and recruitment campaigns targeted at priority markets. These include existing and emerging markets, locally, nationally and internationally. Included in the role is the management of recruitment strategies and nurturing relationships on behalf of the College. Building effective relationships with international recruiting agents, waitlisted families and prospective families are of vital importance to the recruitment process.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- High level strategic thinking abilities;
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills;
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to liaise with a diverse range of people;
- Proven experience in providing excellent customer service;
- Passion for the importance of education.
