The Centre
This beautifully presented small to medium sized community based long day care centre is highly regarded in the local area. The rooms are light filled and there's plenty of natural resources throughout the centre, including a large outdoor area, full of interactive and engaging apparatus. A play-based learning philosophy is embraced with a strong emphasis on school readiness and seamless transitions.

The Opportunity
As the Centres educational leader, you will support the Director by mentoring and training staff and ensuring the program in each room is of high quality. This position would be suited to an Early Childhood Teacher wanting to step up into management. Previous experience as an educational leader or 2IC would be desirable but not essential. You, as part of the management team will be offered excellent support and professional development. In addition, there are career progression opportunities with this well-established organisation that are looking to make significant changes to the centre.

The Ideal Candidate  
You will be Bachelor qualified with several years’ experience as an ECT at a similar service. You will also present extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS as well as excellent communication and management skills.
  
Suitable applicants must have:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood (or ACECQA equivalent) 
• Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
• WWCC
• Right to work in Australia
• A minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience as an ECT
