Who are we:

Green Space Childcare is a privately owned, is my only centre and will stay owner operated.  We have strong beliefs in recycle reclaim and reuse.  With oversized rooms and a huge nature based outdoor play space.  Seperate to this we will have a 40m2 vegetable garden and animal farm on site - coming within the next few months.  We also have plans for a water play/mud pit, aiming for installation by end of spring this year.

We are licensed as a 120 place centre, offering care from 6 weeks to school age.  Providing all meals prepared onsite and nappies.  

We have a long term vision, with plans already in place for additional facilities onsite.

The role:

We are looking for our forever manager - who will need to be highly motivated and have a desire, ability and enjoys providing quality care and education to our children, and the ability to offer support to our families and community

  • Hold a minimum qualification of a Diploma of Children's Services
  • Experience in rostering and ability to work to and within KPIs
  • Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and National Standards
  • Ability to build a strong supportive team - encouraging team members to look outside the box to offer educational experiences
  • Create an environment where we become the first choice for care and education for families within our communities
  • Amazing communication skills
  • Have current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
  • Working with children check
  • Extensive knowledge with Quikids and Story Park preferred.

You will have a desire to lead your team to offer the best education and care within our community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and nuture positive and professional relationships within your team, the community, our families and children
  • Manage the day to day operations of the centre - in line with our policies and procedures and striving at all times to ensure we are offering quality care
  • Manage the business - including but not limited to, enrolments, waiting lists, collection of fees, allocation of budgets, rostering.
  • Ensuring the centre is compliant with State legislation and exceeds national quality standards (NQS)
  • Collaborates with the educational leader to oversee the curriculum development
  • Be an inspiring leader to your team

This position is also open to someone who is currently performing 2IC role - with a minimum of 12 months experience.
