Your new company
Join this high quality child care centre located in the beautiful Northern Beaches, Sydney which promotes an environmentally friendly philosophy and has an excellent reputation in the local area. An opportunity has arisen for a strong ECT who can help lead their preschool room. The Director has a wealth of experience in the childcare sector and believes in empowering educators and giving them the freedom to use their own ideas and style of teaching, within the guidelines of the EYLF.
The centre received an Exceeding rating at Assessment and Rating and are keen to maintain their excellent reputation for education and care, within the local community. The organisation has recently opened a 2nd service and are looking for motivated and dedicated educators who are looking to progress their career, to join their team.
Your new role
As the ECT co-Room Leader in the preschool you will be responsible for programming and planning an engaging school readiness program. You will also be confident and passionate about mentoring other educators, as well as collaborating with the wider team to create consistency and smooth transitions across the centre.
This role can be flexible with working 4 long days or 5 shorter days across the week. The centre boats excellent staff retention, so you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and positive environment, where you can continue to grow your career as an Early Childhood Teacher.
What you'll need to succeed
- Early Childhood Teacher degree (ACECQA approved)
- A passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious practices
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
