A community based environment looking for an Administration Supervisor to join their busy team. Leading a team of 5 through a project which will be a 4 year term and reporting to the Program Manager.

The Role

  • Lead, mentor and develop a small team of Administrators 
  • Perform and oversee day to day site access processes and accountabilities;
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to personnel and management;
  • Provide support and advice to the Administrators with flights and accommodation;
  • Ongoing revision and implementation of administration and processes and procedures;
  • Management and maintenance of database;
  • Facilitate document control for all departments;
  • Take minutes in leadership meetings
  • Data collation, entry and preparation of weekly and monthly reports; and
  • Provide coverage for Administration and personnel when on leave and attending training.
This is a hands on role which will appeal to candidates who are confident leaders and enjoy a variety of work as part of a small team.

You have a professional attitude with the ability to build, develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and contractors, as well as maintain confidentiality and handle business-sensitive material in an appropriate manner. 
As an integral support function, you are an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated person with a flexible attitude and passion to contribute to the success of our dedicated team.  
This will be supported by the following qualifications, experience and characteristics:
  • Child care, communities or not for profit experience is advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar leadership role;
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proven history in managing performance and instilling accountability;
  • Proven experience in small projects management;
