The Job
A unique opportunity for childcare educators to work full time in Millers Point a suburb located in Sydney CBD’s north end .
About Us
We are seeking a caring, loving Early Childhood Educator to look after our 3 children. They are one girl aged 7 months and 2 boys aged 2 years old and 3.5 years old. We own a house in the Millers Point and care very much for giving the best opportunities to our children in terms of love education and nourishment.
The Role
- We are looking to appoint a Diploma level Early Childhood Educator who is confident and has an understanding of respectful practice with children.
- You will be in charge of 3 kids in a family house and be in charge of their learning activities and provide quality early childhood curriculum
- Enthusiastic, motivated, professional, flexible, and reliable.
- Previous experience in educating and caring for children
- You will be incharge of kids’ daily activities from nappy changing to play time and preparing food (all food and cooking facilities will be provided)
- Knowledge and relevant skills in documenting children's learning through observations.
- Planning and implementing a quality educational curriculum
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Regulations
- Ability to form and maintain professional relationships with parents and children
About you
Essential requirements for this position are:
- Diploma of Children's Services (or working towards)
- Completed Child Protection course
- Current approved first aid certificate, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certificates
- The ability to understand and implement EYLF & NQS requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to interact well with children and build positive relationships with families
- Experience in observing, programming and planning to meet children's individual needs
- Honest, reliable and responsible personality. Excellent command of English and a mature personality.
