Newly-formed business, Meridian Migration & Education Consultant (MMEC) firm based in Melbourne CBD. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Migration Agent to join our Melbourne office. This is full-time position and start immediately.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• The successful applicant will provide visa consultancy in the following areas: Student visas, GSM, Partner, 457, ENS, RSMS, MRT, RRT and all other visas.
• Responsible for ongoing sales and lead conversion with new and existing clients
• Preparing and running seminars to marketing outlets & Colleges

Duties as a Migration Agent

• Provide clients in making one of the most important decisions of their lives: helping them to migrate to Australia
• Manage your own caseload of corporate and individual clients
• Liaise with DIBP for various types of applications and other relevant organisations;
• Advise students on their student visas and on the various pathways for PR and TR
• Prepare documents and lodge visa applications, monitor the application progress to ensure each case is finalised within the required timeframe
• Review and implement process improvements throughout the office

Selection Criteria:

• Current registration with MARA
• 3-5 years' experience in migration and/or education industry

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in/ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Migration Act and procedure
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High level communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time and priorities effectively and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

Salary

• Base salary and generous commission structure + bonuses.
