About the business and the role
Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) is a quality driven, nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO), committed to continuous improvement in the area of Healthcare and Nursing education. We offer high quality, engaging, interactive online and blended delivery modes.
We are currently seeking;
- 2 x Part-time Trainer/Assessors for Friday & Saturday classes
to deliver Cert IV in Ageing Support to aspiring students.
Some of the responsibilities of the role will include:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lesson planning and Course delivery
- Reviewing available resources to plan lessons
- Conducting and evaluating assessments
- Resource and assessment tool validation (as required)
- Conducting simulated & practical placement assessments
- Associated administrative tasks
Key Selection Criteria:
- Vocational competencies at least to the level of qualifications delivered
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40110 or TAE40116 (required)
- In-depth understanding of ASQA/ANMAC regulatory guidelines and standards (highly desirable)
Please note successful candidates are required to have the following checks:
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months) or willing to apply for one
- Working with Children Check or willing to apply for one
