An opportunity has presented itself at the Earlwood Children’s Centre for a motivated individual to join our Children’s Services Team as an Early Childhood Teacher

The Role

Your duties in this role will include:

• Assist in the implementation of early childhood program that is reflective of the of the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Collaborate with children, families and other staff to develop a curriculum based on each child’s strengths, interests and needs.
• Develop and maintain meaningful and respectful relationships with children, families and the community
• Observe and document children’s learning and development using a range of methods and assessing against the EYLF outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Education and Care Services National Regulations including the National Quality Standard, at all times.
• Support centre director in managing the service, becoming familiar with requirements of director/nominated supervisor role and replacing them during times of absence.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate, including Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as Early Childhood Teacher with children 0-6 years
• Meet the requirements of a Working with Children Check and Criminal Check
• Identify & Respond to Children & Young People at Risk
