Your new company
This beautiful community based centre located in a leafy Inner West suburb is looking for a skilled ECT to join their passionate team. Located on stunning natural grounds, near a lake and local Primary school the children are provided with fantastic outdoor learning environments. The children take care of the School's chickens during holidays and work on their large vegetable garden. As well as a huge sustainability focus, the centre continues their holistic approach during various exciting initiatives eg visiting local nursing homes and completing a respect for our elders project.
Your new role
As 3-5 room leader, you should have an understanding of preparing children for school. You should be confident designing a curriculum that incorporates indoor and outdoor learning with opportunities to develop their independence and social & emotional skills.
This community based centre has a long standing team of dedicated staff so passionate and forward thinking ECT's are encouraged to apply.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACECQA approved ECT qualification
- Experience working in a Preschool room.
- Passion for Reggio Emilia and sustainability
