Our client is a major International company seeking a Virtual Training Specialist for an 8 week temporary assignment. 
 
As a specialist in virtual learning you will support distance learning class rooms, provide technical support and training for distance learning and grow the use of distance education. You will foster continuous improvement concepts for courses, gather data, and communicate findings to Development, Delivery and Operations groups.
 
The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

• schedule practice and live sessions, focussing on the student experience;
• verify training material consistency and utilization in a virtual environment;
• create consistent process and procedures for utilization of virtual training environments;
• maintain the relationship between the Virtual Training Centre and users;
• implement and expand virtual training platforms; 
• serve as technical resource, own, document and administer the associated hardware and software, and train other support and department personnel; 
• support the helpdesk and providing knowledge based articles required to support virtual training delivery;
• manage helpdesk responsiveness and processes, ensuring service level agreement is achieved.

To be eligible for this role you must have:

• experience working in a customer service or related customer-oriented environment (1 -3 years);
• experience implementing major software programs which involve change in process (1 -3 years);
• information technology experience including supporting virtual classrooms (1 - 3 years);
• an understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development;
• an understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints;
• ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions;
• the capability to collaborate with business leaders to provide information technology solutions;
• skills in interpersonal communication, negotiation, supplier management relations and conflict resolution.

 Education requirements: Formal education or training required to perform the essential  functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration  requirements.
