The Centre
The role is working for a vibrant, fresh and modern 48 place centre which caters for children from 0-5 years.
The centre is a beautiful home away from home offering lots of natural light and spacious outdoors areas which are furnished with natural resources.
The centre is privately owned and has built a fantastic reputation amongst families and the local community over nearly 10 years.
The centre's vision is to create an environment where each child's different needs are met. They incorporate a couple of different philosophies within their program which mainly consist of the Reggio Emilia approach and parts of Steiner methodology.
The hours of operation of the centre are from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and there is onsite parking available.
The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Diploma or Bachelor trained Educator for a bright and bubbly Nursery room.
The role will involve working closely with experienced educators who have been part of the service for up to 10 years, you will share all responsibilities such as planning and programming, portfolios, observations and all other associated documentation tasks.
You will also be a key contact for the families and will ensure that positive and trusting relationships are developed.
A high level of programming and documentation experience and knowledge is essential to be a successful candidate in this Exceeding Centre.
- MINIMUM of a Diploma or Bachelor/Masters in Early Childhood Education. (Overseas qualifications considered only if assessed by ACECQA.)
- Educators more than 50% through a Bachelors/Masters degree are welcome to apply.
- Hold a Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
- Current PAID NSW Working With Children's Check.
- Have a least two years experience in a centre based care setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy and technological competence for completing observations and documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and its practical implication.
